Federal judge steps up, temporarily blocks Biden regime from firing federal workers, contractors over COVID vaccine mandate

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, federal health officials, with the blessing of then-President Donald Trump, asked the country to give them "two weeks to slow the spread" of the virus and that would be sufficient. And for the next two to three weeks, the country essentially shut down with the exception of the most vital of services: Retailers, companies, firms and other businesses closed and locked their doors, idling tens of millions of American workers. An eerie silence fell over downtown regions, and abandoned city blocks looked as though they'd been constructed for a dystopian movie. But Americans were willing to do our part so we complied. Then two weeks stretched into a month; then two months; then ... the goalposts just continued to move. Trump tried to convince states to reopen and several red states did, but not before the economic and political damage had been done and Trump wound up losing an election he had in the bag just nine months earlier. Now here we are, and the Biden regime along with Democrats all over the country who once said they wouldn't trust or take a "Trump vaccine" are now using it to destroy entire sectors of our economy again with vaccine mandates. The president himself has issued a mandate for nearly all federal employees and federal contractors (while exempting Congress members and their staffs, of course), but finally a sane federal judge has thrown a legal lifeline to them and has slowed the process of tyranny, as Breitbart News reported late last week:

A federal judge for the district court in Washington, DC, issued a temporary restraining order on Thursday barring the Biden administration from firing both unvaccinated civilians and active-duty military members...

The order comes after 20 plaintiffs sued the Biden administration for its handling of religious exemptions in its Chinese coronavirus vaccine mandate for federal employees. President Joe Biden issued an executive order on September 9 requiring all employees working for a federal contractor or subcontractor to get vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus by November 24 to be considered “fully vaccinated” by a December 8, 2021, deadline. The mandate will also order private companies with more than 100 employees to implement required vaccinations or weekly testing for employees. “None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending,” District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ordered, according to what is known as a "Minute Order" obtained by Fox News. In her ruling, the judge also ordered “active duty military plaintiffs, whose religious exception requests have been denied, will not be disciplined or separated during the pendency of their appeals," according to the Fox News report. https://twitter.com/JennaEllisEsq/status/1453865210746449924 The Biden regime had until noon Friday to respond to the judge's order. The administration plans on pushing ahead with the mandate but won't be disciplining any federal workers or military members just yet. The plaintiff’s attorney, Michael Yoder, told Fox News the regime has displayed “an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours.” "This combination is dangerous to American liberty. Thankfully, our Constitution protects and secures the right to remain free from religious persecution and coercion. With this order, we are one step closer to putting the Biden administration back in its place by limiting government to its enumerated powers. It’s time citizens and courts said no to tyranny. The Constitution does not need to be rewritten, it needs to be reread," Yoder continued. The case comes as a growing number of red states have either vowed to sue over another Biden vax mandate (for businesses with 100 or more employees), passed laws barring vaccine mandates for businesses, or both.
