The Right Side: Doug Billings talks about the beginnings of communist socialism in America – Brighteon.TV
Doug Billings talked about the beginnings of communist socialism in the U.S. during the Jan. 3 episode of "The Right Side" on
Brighteon.TV.
"When people say it is a battle of good and evil, they are absolutely correct," said Billings. "Now, it serves us well to remember history."
According to Billings, the communist socialism's emergence in America was rooted from the writings of Karl Marx, specifically "The Communist Manifesto." This inspired
American labor leader Eugene V. Debs to establish the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 1897. Billings added that Debs also joined the Industrial Workers of the World – a trade union that gained notoriety for instigating a series of labor riots during the 1910s.
Debs eventually went on to become the Socialist Party's candidate for the presidency. He made an impact by helping elect 1,200 candidates – including two congressmen – in office.
By 1914, the SDP had a reported 125,000 members. These included the union heads of mine workers, brewery workers, carpenters and ironworkers. Billings mentioned that communist socialists in the SDP were going after the working-class people and getting their hooks in them.
This was just the beginning of communist socialism, and over a 100 years later the American people are realizing the effects of this infiltration throughout all aspects of society. The military did not install these communist socialists to power – misguided people did.
Billings: Americans have been corrupted by the Left
The
Brighteon.TV host lamented how Americans have been corrupted, overcome and overshadowed by the Left. Even though they only comprise a numerical minority, they have taken over key elements of society – including the media.
He also pointed out that the elected class in the U.S., specifically the Democratic Party, has totally embraced communist socialism. Communist socialism supports militant atheism, which seeks to cast God out of everything. (Related:

"The radical Left has a 100-year head start on us," Billings said. "They infiltrated schools, health care facilities, educational institutions, corporate America, labor unions and workers around the country. They didn't use the military to implement their policies, platforms and procedures in this republic. They got involved, and we didn't."
The host of "The Right Side" mentioned that the radical Left's plot to dumb down America and veer it away from God's Divine Providence and the Founding Fathers' true intent has been a slow and methodical process.
"Nothing that they have done has been done instantly over there on the Left. It's all been in development for decades, about 100 years. It's now been unleashed upon us in such a way as to make us think that those of us that stand by God and morality and the concepts of biblical Judeo-Christian principles are the outcasts."
Moreover, Billings mentioned that in the course of the radical Left's century-long progression toward anarchy and anti-American values, they have reached the point where they are now getting involved at the local level of government. This, he added, is the truth that conservatives have to understand and accept today.
"We've got 100 years of catching up to do, but we can do it quickly," Billings said. He also mentioned that
the history of communist socialism in America is something that needs to be examined and understood.
